MiHR’s National Occupational Training Standards (NOTS) aligns with MiHR’s National Occupational Standards (NOS) and provides the learning outcomes and learning objectives that guide quality training, curriculum design and developmentThe development of National Occupational Training Standards (NOTS), informed by the National Occupation Standards (NOS), support the development of the workforce skills needed by employers.

Who Can Use the Training Standards?
 
  • Course designers and training and evaluation specialists can use the standard in designing, developing and evaluating training, and implementing and evaluating learning programs.
  • Employers and human resource departments can use the NOTS as a reference to determine training requirements, develop job descriptions and succession planning, or set performance expectations for employee, partners or consultants.
  • Educational institutions and training providers can use the standard as a basis for developing and implementing national training and education programs and strategies.
